These don’t work your biceps to any significant extent. There’s no bicep contraction during prayer pulses and tray servers, and the range of motion during the middle one is too small to produce any results. Literally any biceps exercise is superior to these. I don’t understand why you’re always trying to reinvent the wheel. But this time 2/3 of the exercises don’t even work the muscle you claim they do.

@Robert E pt/ot at work recommend some of these videos on this channel for patients. And small repetitive movements are the types of exercises some people prefer instead of weights. So no, it’s not going to get you jacked but that’s not what it’s for.

@Sorina N im sorry. I should have acknowledged that there are reasons beyond maximal size and strength goals for people to work out. If these exercises make you feel good and are the difference between doing nothing and something then thats a positive thing. They could help you burn some extra calories or maintain some strength. Maybe they could increase your muscular endurance. If its a novel enough stimulus or youve undergone acute atrophy or something maybe youll see some size or strength gains 🤷♂️. I just think we should be honest and clear about what results most people are likely to see and how effective these exercises are, including relative to other exercises you could he doing which would be much better all round. ……and for the record im not a “roided man” im just a pretty regular recreational lifter.

These workouts “burn” after a while but it doesnt feel like a worked out like when I do a push up (with knees bent or not) or bicep curl with 3kg of water bottle.

Everyone who genuinely wants visible strong muscles knows that these workouts won’t be effective for THAT goal. That doesnt meant they aren’t effective for “regular” people who just want so slim down and activate their muscles a little as beginners. Its also very common knowledge that for real “gains” you will need to use weights in most cases and keep upping them, so the weightless should’ve already given that away.
It can also be for people like me with chronic pain who can’t do 90% of the workouts online and especially with weights, and needs more simple moves to help build my strength up.
Not everything has to be for “gains”, some people just want to start moving lmao. And Cassie’s videos have always been pretty much revolved around slimming down and sculpting with Pilate’s moves instead of “gains”. There’s plenty of channels that revolve around “gains” and the most effective ways :)!

@Lilani Kun i understand but workouts generally don’t make you slim down, the key is the diet, calories in vs calories out, obviously the more muscle you have the more you burn. I dont think there is anything wrong with “gains” or building muscle, Cassey herself used to make workouts about building muscle in certain areas wether they were pilates,bodyweight or with dumbbells.
I just wish Cassey put a disclaimer or saying this is for beginners or a variation for those who cant do exercises or even make a video with a physio.

@Lilani Kun you cant spot reduce fat and these exercises wont be very energy intensive so anyone wanting to slim or sculpt should be aware that theyll likely need to lower theyre calories and lose general body fat.

Fun fact: in Norway there is a tv-show where a bunch of Norwegian athletes compete in strengh. One of the tasks that can send you home, is this; You stand with a baloon in each hand with your arms straight out. Under the baloons there are nails. If you lower your arms and pop your baloons, you’re out. This is (in my opinion) one of the hardest tasks in the show.

I know y’all are hating but these really burn like alot especially when incorporated with her other upper body vids. I not well versed in fitness so I can speak to like long term muscle building but actually doing these exercises they do contract muscle and you can very well feel the burn quite a bit. That’s all I’m gonna say. I feel like people hating for no reason. The only thing that y’all could possibly hate on with legitimately is like some of her clickbait titles like lengthen legs etc type contact. But I get it, it does make people want to click and majority of people already know that it is not actually gonna lengthen you legs.

Not hate kiddo these things do utter nothing, the “burn” you feel is just lactate acid nothing else it litterally will not build even a gram of muscle not unless you are 400 pounds with heavy flabby arms. It is called critical thinking, not hating i know ya kiddos think anyone that does not agree is hating because you do not understand a damn thing.

But on countless vids regarding these exercises people do make non constructive comments where it was more disparaging than critical.

@Shanz Oni This was my first video just sitting home being bored, however doing this will do practically nothing. In order to actually target your biceps you need to take the biceps through its range of motion and then you need to add load. You cannot just wave your arms like that and get results, again unless you are insanely out of shape and fat at the same time then you can get some for a sort while.
