What could I do if I get hungry doing the fasting
Drink sparkling water, sip electrolytes, have a coffee or tea. They all can help.
I’m worried with omad that i won’t eat enough calories which will leave my hormones in a bad place with cortisol high .
It’s a concern for sure. Spread the meal out over two hours if needed and you should be able to consume enough.

What about muscle building activity, will this be negatively impacted by Omar?
I find that it does not negatively impact it due to the hormone boost in growth hormone and testosterone. I do find that using EAAs is important for me though. Ideally you take the EAAs within an hour after your workout. I will take them regardless of them having a slight negative impact on my fast if I’m really trying to push muscle growth. you postponing a meal,you are curbing the light (hunger,depression) your not doing anything.
It could be a great shade for people who are fat…but again not stopping the light.
Did you say if you are diabetic you might not reach autophagy with OMAD? Why?
I’ve been doing OMAD for over 3 years now: best thing ever! Makes it really easy to maintain my weight without counting calories.
I have no trouble going 23 hrs before eating. However, I do have trouble eating even 1300 calories in a 2 hr window. I’m curious if I go back to IF of 20/4 and still get most of the benefits of OMAD. I forgot to mention that the diet is low carb (<20gr) 3 oz protein and the rest in leafy greens, 1/2 cup sauerkraut or a naturally fermented dill pickles (both homemade). I upped the calories with butter, olive, avocado and coconut oil. It's a struggle to get to 1300 calories though. I don't snack at all and sip water with ACV adding lemon juice sometimes. I drink a couple coffees too.
