Is there a coffee brand you would recommend?
Informative and eye opening video, thank you.
I use Kicking Horse coffee which is both fairtrade and organic.
Sharing this with my coffee loving friends. 👍🏼
You are welcome. Thanks for sharing!
I had really intense reaction to koffee and most of them got better by switching to organic brands. I am also using a French press
Thank for sharing?
Wow Dr. Z – you always have the best videos at the best times.
I JUST switched to brewing French press organic coffee beans at home.
Medium roast caffeine is my preferred bean. I never drink decaf.
I grind at the time of brewing. I use a glass French press. the Veken looks great!
Glad I could help. Thanks for sharing.
I drink Mayorga organic coffee. It’s a company in Florida.
Hi Dr. Nick. I use 4 Sigmatic mushroom coffee. It does have real coffee in it but with the benefit of mushrooms. I also use an Aero Press for the brewing. It is a tool that you can use if you are camping. I found it on Amazon. You can control the water, dwell time and amount of coffee. It makes awesome coffee but perhaps not practical for a work situation. I also use the Laird coconut creamer from Costco. Thanks for your videos. God bless you and yours.
Thank you for the reminder. We have a friend of the family who travels to South America & other countries to buy product ingredients for major companies. He says that the highest pesticide residue is on coffee beans and chocolate. I had stopped buying organic to save money but am going to switch back. My health is worth it.
Thanks for this video. I was initially not a coffee person till last week when I saw a video that coffee and lemon juice helps with flattening big stomach. Know if this claim is an effective one?
Newman’s organic coffee for me all the time. Walmart.
I also heard about the Mycotoxins in coffee. I think perhaps organic and 1 cup a day is ok
I spent 50 years in the coffee industry this better be good because I love this channel but . . . . OK this is fine for some who just started drink coffee or is clueless. No Judgments.
How can anything roasted (or burned for that matter) be healthy? Is it not the opposite to antioxidant? Smoking in the stomach is a good analogy. Green coffee will be much healthier. Will stick to green tea for my daily dose of caffeine
Say it isn’t so… “chemical cocktail” 😳😲!! I love coffee and the aroma (probably the aroma more than the actual coffee) in the morning but, I don’t drink it much these days because it irritates my stomach! As for the buildup in my coffee pot, I brew vinegar through my coffee pot at least once a month! As always, thanks for the information and tips Dr. Z.!!
I am very curious, is that a virtual background? Seems so real, specially with the book on obesity 😊.
Brewing coffee using the filter paper methods reduce the amount of the chemicals found naturally in coffee that can increase cholesterol in some.
Also worth noting the acrylamide in roasted coffee so try green bean coffee or highly roasted coffee which has been found to char off the acrylamide which tends to accumulate on the outer bean and falls off during the process
I drink normal coffee with caffeine on Monday and Thursday and decaf for the rest of the time. That way I don’t get addicted to the caffeine and I get a huge buzz from the caffeine on those two days.
I really like your channel, very informative. The best cuppa I ever had was made on the stove in a Italian percolator.
Uhhh it’d be absolutely impossible for me to live without coffee 😭☕️
I was hyper sensitive to coffee for most of my life. It gave me a low grade headache and brain fog. After giving up sugar in my 50s all that went away and I can now enjoy the health benifits coffee offers. Here in the Dominican Republic we have a few organic brands and I also have a few trees myself. However, it’s a lot of work so I just buy coffee. The Espresso percolator is the most commonly used coffee maker here.
