You are spouting false advice and conclusions: According to the National Library of Medicine’s quercetin summary, “Extracts of quercetin have been used to treat or prevent diverse conditions including cardiovascular disease, hypercholesterolemia, rheumatic diseases, infections and cancer but have not been shown to be effective in clinical trials for any medical condition.”
Currently, there’s no data to support that high dosages of quercetin (500-1000mg daily) will protect you any better than a healthy diet would. (And yes, there is such a thing as too many vitamins.)
In general, vitamins never get clearance to treat a medical condition. Medicine gets clearance to treat medical conditions. Your statement above contradicts itself too. Do your research before you claim to be an expert.
Well I started a healthy woe with keto/carnivore and and after a while I started getting a histamine response. Initially I got rid of my asthma, joint pain, psoriasis, but then I noticed small wheezing, itchy skin like hives, and lately itchy eyes towards the end of the evening. My boyfriend would get itchy too, he basically eats the same as me. And then I realized a lot of keto/carnivore foods can trigger a histamine response. Fermented foods, certain vegetables, avocados, bone broth, and other foods. Even eating leftovers. I would immediately take my inhaler and an Allegra or Claritin. But I’m really trying to wean myself off of these. I decided to try Quercetin but I don’t think I was taking it correctly. It’s been hard to navigate through what I should and should not eat. But what works for you might not work for someone else. What is a healthy diet for you may not be healthy for me.

I usually have sardines or eggs with raw onions daily for breakfast . Sure enough within half an hour , i woukd habe to clear my throatas they say when a lot of mucus woukd come down.. i have been dosing up on quercetin for years lol. Add in some pineapple and parsley to my diet and iwas anle to stop using allergy medication and a rescue inhaler …
and my gran ate three raw gloves of garlic every day every time i make a salad or just with regular food i grate 1 or 2 cloves of garlic amd mix it in with my foods

I take quercetin + bromelain every day for asthma. It seems to be helping. It also chelates excess iron which can help with iron overload

I honestly had no idea about covid and quercetin. I started taking it because of histamine. I found a brand called Aller-max at my neighborhood vegan grocery store and it contains a lot of stuff for allergies like quercetin, bromelain, stinging nettle. It also has Vitamin C, Zinc and N-Acetyl Cistine. I’m glad I watched this video because it has no instructions on how to take these. It just says 2 capsules daily. Should I do 1 capsule in morning and 1 in evening?
