Awesome
Having so much problem trying to stay on track. Gaining so much in matter of a week!
I got serious about self discipline 2 weeks ago and Iβm amazed at how much my belly fat has went down π I cut out all junk foods, mostly eat plant based diet, and I drink a gallon of water a day. Plus, I eat one big meal a day! Iβm literally shrinking fast lol
Thank π you so much πππππͺπͺπ

How does all of this affect your body if you working out?
I always come back to fasting because it works. Been IF since 2010. First thing is to get the appetit under control, fasting actually does that naturally, sugar cravings, etc, but also during the eating window consume calories a little bit below maintenance and try to do cardio like walking (just got a walking treadmill myself i cannot run on it i am also 50) and add some resistance training 3-4 times per week.
This is the plan I follow, except the 24 hour fasting. I’ll have to work on that. Thanks Dr. Z!
How do you reset your metabolism if you’ve been fasting for quite a while (16/8, 18/6, 20 – 24 hrs, 36, 40, 44, 48, 60, 72 hour fasts tossed in, etc) but mistakingly (aka FOOLISHLY) lowered your overall daily calorie intake too severely so that you’ve hit a plateau? (Even though you’ve already lost 140 lbs; but want/need to lose more.) Without having/needing to severely overeat thereby likely regaining some of the weight you have already lost.
I’ve seen a number if YT videos that warn people NOT to reduce daily calories too much or else this will happen; but none explain what to do if this has ALREADY happened.
I love Intermittent Fasting, but it can get addictive because it does work so well, and the results are great to see. Especially at the start
Dr.I do intermittent fasting every day and I eat one meal a day( 23:1). I feel so energetic and healthy
Thank you π
Our body is very smart….Some brains are not π
Thank you for the video, but for the newbie, terms like 16/8 and the many other timing abbreviations in the comments below are a bit mysterious. I will look through your other videos but of anyone can give me some pointers on 1) This intermittent fasting terminology 2) What to eat when you do this (I am reading about Keto but getting information overload and finding it difficult to cut through it, especially as I find contradictory advice everywhere)…how to do this sanely and simply if possible? and 3) How to deal with cravings when you start intermittent fasting.
