The issue for me is my doctor(s) are HUGE advocates for taking medication. Them and the person I live with(my mother) I could have gone on a prolonged fast but my mother will scold me for not eating and taking my medication.(s).
i did not know that… so its like a vicious cycle. Eat–> take medicine–> get hungry again–> eat–>take medicine.

I can just look at some one’s fat distribution and know what they eat. Regular carb-munchers have fat faces and belly blob. Meat eaters + OMAD have waists and slim faces. Yeah, there I said it “carb-face”
Seriously, soon they’ll be adding sugar to honey. It’s insane. Every time I go grocery shopping, I have to read read all the ingredients on the packages. I usually stuck with buying vegetables and grains. Simple ingredients.
I don’t eat much bread, but when I do, I get David’s killer bread “power seed” style. The only bread that doesn’t contain any added sugars.

@Moto Shark I know about Dave’s Killer Bread. I use to eat the whole sprouted seed one as well another one they put out. And I have to say that I am Amazed that I DON’T Miss bread at ALL. Coz That was the main Carb that I was having trouble cutting down on. And it was seemed impossible to find a healthy substitute that actually tasted good and very simular to actual 🍞Bread! ‘Lewis Healthy Life’ totally exceeded my expectations! Good luck to you!😉

Hormones do play a role, sadly when i was 37 i went to see a failed sport doctor for back pain, he could not find the cause so he said at my age i must have low testosterone even if i had no symptoms, he put me on TRT at 200mg per week, i went from 205 pounds to 268 pounds of fat and water.
I am now 50 and have had issues losing weight since that time. I was able to drop the weight to 220 but regain to 280 and am now at 258, a lot more muscular because i started training again at 41 and have been training 4-5 days per week since then.
But i am unable to get back to my start weight of 205.
Intermittent fasting is amazing i am back on this and also learn that eating 1-2 times per day is best to limit insulin etc.
Is it a fine a medium size burger a week with soda ?
Because I m from North Africa , and we eat Mediterranean food 🍲 keto was so easy to do and keep the weight of for 3 years now.merci docteur 👨⚕️.
