Sooooo true – I do this all the time, also thinking about how mane percentage of my workout I have left. It’s like if I do some (simple) math I don’t have to think about my burning legs 😀

I recommend not looking at the time
Especially when the time is almost up
It really makes you lose motivation
and think ”Oh just 3 minutes left that’s nothing I could probably just end the exercise now”

I have to trick myself by saying “okay in 5 minutes I’ll take a quick break”. But every time I get to 5 minutes I just tell myself the NEXT 5 minutes I’ll take a break until I’m done with my workout 😅

When I start to struggle I always pretend to be an instructor and I try to hype up the imaginary people in my class😂
It works pretty well actually, but I only do it when I work out at home alone in my basement lol

Literally I stare at my wall and force myself to day dream. If I focus on running my brain makes up excuses like my knee hurts a bit or I can’t breath. It’s never true
