Hi. One quick question, does exercising hard affect your health. Because I have been working really hard for hours, and I lost my period. Is it something to worry about or will it come again on its own.
She mentioned before that over exercising does make you lose your period. Cause she did it before for her bikini competition. Usually 1 hour a day is good or about 5 hours a week.
Over exercising and under eating can cause you to loose your period. But exercising hard, even in the short term, does affect your health. Please listen to your body and take it easy if you need to.
Yes it does, ur body needs time to recover, light exercises daily is fine but if ur working ur muscles to exhaustion everyday u need to rest
I think cutting back on cardio and going harder on weight lifting helps and also up your fat intake. Restricting your fats and oils too much can also affect your period(I also have irregular periods and eating more olive oil, nuts and peanut butter while cutting back cardio helped)
If you’re going too hard, yes, it can happen. It’s not a good thing. Do it gradually.
Start with light stretches and calisthenics. Do your steps. Add some yoga/Pilates. Then add weights if you think it’s needed.
Also eat right. Remember, if you already were eating in a calorie deficit, you may need to change your diet if you start working out, else you’ll not get the calories your body needs.
Also, check for signs of PCOS. It’s very common and manageable, without drugs if you want to.
I’m the opposite of you. If I stop working out, gain weight, I loose my period. Working out and eating right makes it come back.
