I promised you that I would work on a longer length skort. Here it is.
I have so much inner turmoil right now because I want to please you and create things that you’re asking for, but at the same time, I have to stay true to my design intent and @POPFLEX By Blogilates's style.
Comments please. We have to talk about this.
♥️Cassey
Yeah it sucks because I would also want something longer but I agree that it def doesn’t look great in the longer length. I just don’t know! Maybe it can’t be in the twirl style. Maybe it’s gotta be something like… more minimalistic? Like a wrap skort style?

The wrap style would look so good!
I think the longer skort would look nicer on women with fluffier behind and more defined hips. I looooooved
the short one but had to return it because it felt too exposed
Yeah. Ditch the twirl aspect. Something like a longer version of modern (eg tighter) tennis and cheer skorts.
I’m happy that she agrees that it doesn’t look good . She’s the most genuine person on internet .

yess! we love the honesty 🙂
Maybe a wrap style? Or sarong style that could be good for yoga but you can also wear it out! Or sheer like a ballet wrap?

That would look good
Yeah!!!!!!
I was thinking the same but I am not sure if it could be not practical… But I love the idea.
Yes!!! I think wrap style would look so good in a longer length and make the most of the extra fabric rather than this skater style which looks a bit odd😬
I think the issue is you need more volume at the bottom of the skort. With the skort as high waisted, the skort feels very straight and parallel (not much curve). I would add more to the circumference of the bottom hem and gather the additional fabric. Or you add some pleats for shape. I love a pleated skirt in Winter. I am not a seamstress so I hope I was able to communicate my idea.
Yeah I disagree I think this would probably look worse. Too much volume too low will make it too bulky
there’s no issue here. it just doesn’t look good on her, at least that’s what she thinks, I personally think is fine.
Maybe add some layers of ruffles at the bottom to add volume?
But how would u work out in it?? The longer one isn’t practical to work out in
It won’t need volume at the bottom if a curvy girl would wear it. This is actually perfect for them cos it’ll look similar to the previous design one on thin girls.
I love how you want to make everyone happy! You are just the sweetest! Don’t worry girl it’ll come to you and it’s gong to be beautiful!💜

I think the V shaped waist band from your leggings might solve half the problem with the longer length
I AGREE
That’ll be so much better 😅 it’ll help with thicker audience. I’d like to see it
I literally came to comment that
I was thinking someone with a little wider hip type would LOVE this style. It’d look so good on some people ❤ but just like every single item of clothing I’ve ever seen it’s not for everyone ❤
Definitely for short waisted curvy girls
I really would LOVE a longer skort! I love that on the shorter one the skirt is fullest at your hips. The longer one doesn’t look as bouncie and twirly to me sadly 😢.
I agree. I’m a bit self conscious about my thighs… But I like knee length skirts, they usually look okay on me 🤔
I completely agree with you! You are such a genuine person and you have our complete support with your decisions.
I think it’s more flattering on other types of bodies, the short skirt compliments you more but some people would definitely love it!
Works for curvy people like me
OK I didn’t like it at first, but I completely understand now that I read this comment. I think there would be people who would appreciate a longer one since nobody has the same body
Yes!! I have the current skort but it looks WAY too short on me bc I have really long legs. Like it doesn’t even look like a skirt bc it’s too damn short
Yes definitely
I was thinking someone with a little wider hip type would LOVE this style. It’d look so good on some people ❤ but just like every single item of clothing I’ve ever seen it’s not for everyone ❤
The thing is I think it’s people with a different body type than you asking for this. The original skirts look great on your body type but they might not work on others. These new ones don’t look as good on you but they might be exactly what someone else needs. I would test wear it on different people before scrapping completely
Not necessarily… modesty doesn’t mean having more weight 🙄 modesty comes in all sizes and shapes
@blogilates even 1x models can have different bodies. Long skirts are great for the big bootie thunder thigh club where short skirts don’t cover our butts. Not saying this is the right cut but but size doesn’t equal body proportions.
My vote: v waist and v hem, maybe fuller skirt. The vs should add flirty quality back in through shape and lightening the weight of the fabric.
This. We all have different bodies. I own some of the original skorts. And I do like them. But I do also feel like with my body type that I would feel more comfortable with something a little longer for a little more
Coverage. Not everything needs to be short. Or a crop. I don’t own any popflex tops because I don’t personally wear anything that ends up being midriff baring. And it’s all midriff baring for me since I have a long torso….I could see myself wearing the longer skort.
@aastha tripathi thank you
As a plus size, this is definitely what we are asking for! 🙂 different body type shows it differently
Agree! Got the smaller tulle skort and it looks ridiculous on me
It’s not about sizes tho, it’s about body types. I’m plus size too and that length of skirt NEVER looked good on me because of my body type. I have the short one and it looks just perfect.
No it doesn’t look great, but I think it’s so awesome to watch you go through the design in person and that you listen to your customers!! We love you!!!❤
Could you ask people with different body types to try it out? I think it might seem more flattering on different body types. The first(shorter) skort looked great on you and i see why you dont think the long one looks good.
I wanted to love my twirl skort so badly, but my booty was not having it. I feel like this length is going to look very different on different body types. I do think adding a crisscross waistband will help tremendously, but the length might actually be really good for those of us with fuller hips/butts.
I’ve been waiting for the longer length skort too ❤ your designs are awesome, you’ll find the perfect skort!!!💕💕💕
For people like me who have a pear body type, this is perfect.. Thank you for trying things outside your comfort zone for our benefit..❣️
I like both! I appreciate having fuller coverage in some situations. I also appreciate not faking excitement about something you’re not in love with.
It doesn’t looks amazing but I would feel way more comfortable in it than in the short skirt. A few people mentioned a wrap design, and that sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing the project! Looking back at all your designs, I know you can do it! ❤
Honestly, i’m 5’10. This would look like the shorter one on me so this would actually be what i wanted. It may not look good on you because the shorter one is designed after your own body shape in the first place. So that one complements you the most. I think adding more fluff to the longer skort would make it look fuller and more complementary than straight. But still. The length is exactly what i thought would suit me personally.
I actually don’t mind the longer length. I think it might be good to see it on other body shapes. There’s also lots of good ideas in the comments on design changes to try.
