Shop the Belle Sweater
I don’t know what it is, but over the past few years I’ve become totally enthralled by history. When I’m running on the treadmill, it’s no longer food shows I’m watching – it’s all historical non-fiction shows (I can’t do the made up stuff)!
I love learning the past because it tells me so much about the future.
Anyway, I wanted to start off the video will a little history lesson on the invention of the first crewneck sweatshirt! It was invented by a football player named Benjamin Russell Jr. who also happens to be the son of THE founder of THE Russell Athletics brand! Benjamin created the initial crewneck sweater so he could wear something comfortable to football practice. How cool is it that 96 years later, the Russell brand is still strong and that design pretty much hasn’t changed? A true legacy brand and a true classic garment.
On the flip side though…96 years and the crewneck sweater hasn’t evolved to cater to women’s bodies besides just being smaller and being pink!?? Time to take the challenge!
I didn’t want to stray toooooo far from the classic 1926 crewneck, because it’s classic for a reason! It works! But does it excite me? No!! I wanted to update the crewneck sweater and give it a little bit more of a feminine flair. You know me and my romantic sleeves. So I did that 🙂
I hope you like the @POPFLEX By Blogilates ✨Belle Sweater✨
I love elevating basics because it’s such a challenge to balance the basic with the fashion. You can’t go too hard that it’s no longer basic…but you can’t go too soft that nothing happened.
Anyway tell me what you think!
♥️Cassey
Ps: I’m wearing small and this comes in XS – 3X in heather grey, black and sand! @POPFLEX By Blogilates at
I already know you’re gonna ask for a longer version 😅 but this version is avail now so hope u like! You can grab it here https://bit.ly/popflex-belle-sweater
Yes please a longer version I like the way it looks short too tho!
Hi blogilates! Could you add different cuffs on the end of the sleeve? I dont like hoodies that are tight on the wrists. Just a suggestion.
I’m literally at target right now looking at your section
I like the short one but could you like tighten the bottom idk why but I like it like that
Can we appreciate how she puts so much thought into her designs💕
@Abbie Ng because they want likes (most of the time not all people so nobody take this personally)
no
@Abbie Ng cause she does actually put thought into her products and listens to her customers on what they think/would make her products better
@Ezzy R I really don’t care about who sees my comment just thought I’d say something today
@Hannah oh
Hi!!! Maybe cinch the waist just a bit for the bigger chested girlies like myself. That fit looks great but I’m aftraid it’d make me look like a balloon. I love your content and products!! Keep it up!
There’s a type of Japanese sweatshirt you might want to look into. Idk if it has a specific name, but it’s more cinched at the waist and wider at the hips. You’ll know it when you see it.
@fae gibb I’m 98 lbs and tiny and I HATE this trend.. I look like I’m being devoured when I where baggy clothes. Everyone else who wears it does too imo.
@Pop Circus i can’t find it 🙁
Yes!! I’m not particularly large chested but I personally hate crew necks that are wide at the waist. It never looks good on me!
WOW! I love it the romantic sleeves are just amazing I love your designs you make them so much nicer
I absolutely adore it !! You are amazing . Never stop making such amazing stuff , i repeat NEVER
I honestly and always love your designsss<3
I love the way you design everything!
It’s amazing how she designs such fabulous products just for us to wear! I love your style and your determination <3
She doesn’t care look at the price range
Not so much for the fabric i think 😅
I love your designs so much! It would be amazing if you opened an EU store someday so that we wouldn’t have to pay for customs 😄💸
This girl is the definition of “i want it, i got it” and “fine, I’ll do it myself”
be more original next time “FiNe, iLl dO iT mYsElF”
What an original comment, did you think of that all by yourself?
Yes… we know… it’s on every video lol
I guess there’s a 1% chance u thought of this yourself but since I probably just copied it, why? Why copy a comment? I don’t get it. Curious as to the thought process behind it.
Kinda seems like clout chasing behavior except there’s no clout to be found lol (a few likes on a comment..)
“I want it I make it “
@crippling froggy chair It’s facts tho
Wow that’s a cool idea!
It looks original ❄️
Personally, I would love to see a version that is longer and gently highlights the waist, while still being comfy and casual and chill, just like this one 🙂
Cuz I , being tall and curvy, know that items that are too wide in the middle section tend to make me look super bulky and big. So, maybe that idea can be good for your customers 🙂
@Lana it’s more about body types rather than the actual length 🤍🙏🏻
I agree! I’m tall and this would be too short
definitely agree, it looks like one of those sweatshirts that exposes your whole stomach when you put your arms up lol
@dewbunny THIS!!!!!! ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼
@Lana I’m not that tall, but I dislike a cold waistline. My sweatshirt should go quite below the jeans line.
Bought some Pop Flex items for the first time a few weeks ago (the zip cloud hoodie and the pirouette skort) and I’m in LOVE. The fabrics are so high quality and the fit is everything I could ever want. Might have to buy this now…don’t stop with your designs!!
Aw I’m so happy you liked the items ❤️
I’m so proud of all your designs! They’re so gorgeous! I’ve been here since the beginning! And you really did the damn thing! and I’m soooooo proud of you!
Yes I’m in love with this. Been following you for a long time, since I was about 14. I’m 24 now and just started my first big-girl-job teaching dance to middle schoolers. I can finally afford to buy some of your active line and I am so excited 💗💗
hey! i love this. you should definitely do this style with t-shirts. i would love to see the dropped shoulders, and increased width in one. its all i look for.
i always get scared wearing more voluminous sweaters because it gives off the illusion of a wider waist (despite a small waist) since my hips are wide. i’m curious to see how your design would fit on someone with a body like mine! 👌🏾
I love how much thought and detail is put in every design you make, that’s why you’re special
Can we just appreciate thats unlike us watching lol she actually gets up and decides to do something productive and amazing all for us. This is why we all need to be appreciative of her she saves us with her unbelievable designs💖
Your designs are so well created the amount of effort you put into each and every design is impeccable, you could get away with designing things so standard just like everything else and it would take less time, but you put in the time and the thought and it pays off when you see the finished product and see how high quality and how well thought out everything you design is!
This is absolutely fantastic and one of the best sweatshirts it’s adorable and these designs are sooo comfortable thank you for all your hard work please continue working your magic! 😊❤️
