This is so funny! Why would you care to look like a Photoshop chop when you look great already?! I notice that my boobs look excessively larger in some of the pics. people take of me. But, not everyone thinks that’s beautiful. (Shrugs). Usually people think your body shape, size, fitness is the ideal.

Beauty standards are so old they are different in countries and cultures. If we continue paying too much attention and molding our bodies to fit in any trend than they wont and we will continue being victims.
Also one more thing that wont make this trends go away is because so many of us complain about them but than we follow the people that set trends, we give them platform and attention.
I’m glad you make videos calling out the bs beauty standards but I really hope you dont mold yourself to fit in the new standard (which is being skinny)

I have never heard it called “beauty distortion” instead of beauty trend or beauty standard. As soon as I read your caption I felt a weird sense of relief for a problem I didn’t know I had. In my 30s it has become easier to say that I won’t hold myself to a certain beauty standard, but to identify it as a distortion is not only kinder to myself, but also more accurate. Thank you.

In my opinion, beauty standards are originally started because of culture and all that fun and pretty stuff. We still kinda need it to stay guided, it’s just that it has gone too far. As long as we find what works out for us and maintain a healthy body then beauty standards are not much of a problem. Let’s not normalize being fat & skinny and call it “body positivity” we just need our bodies healthy and looking good 👍🏻

Not the video being a meme and then the message being super inspirational and serious. 💀
But what you said in the video is very true, and nobody should be tempted by a beauty standard to change who they are and how they look. Because everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way <3

It’s honestly so disappointing that no matter how perfect you try to be there will always be someone pointing out your flaws, instead of your beauties.

Remember to make your own beauty standard and stop listening to what other people want you to look like. You are most beautiful when you are happy with yourself

In the 00’s you couldn’t have a 🍑 or hourglass figure. Then 15 years later it was all the rage. Supposedly we’re due to revert back to 00’s standards soon. 🙄
