Water won’t cause you to gain weight (aka fat), it’s just the actual water in your body that makes your scale number higher.

I suffer from bloating real bad, like big as a balloon, so I found out that drinking kefir and making veggie shakes has helped me a lot with it 🙂

Chickpeas will do the least amount of you’re prone to bloating! They feed beneficial bacteria the most out of the legume family. The rest tend to be highly inflammatory. (Peanuts are in the legume family FYI!)

To the ladies that say water bloats them, that’s usually because you are dehydrated. When you first pound a bottle of water, your body is like OMG thank you finally, let’s store it in case she decides to go back to feeding us ice coffee, but if you KEEP drinking water throughout the day, your body will recognize it has enough, it’ll start to use what it needs, let you pee the rest, and you’ll notice it will actually help to DEBLOAT you when you have salty meals or dairy. 🌟

Bloating from food can result from one or more intolerancies (=your body has difficulty digestion certain compounds of the food). I also bloat from bread and milk, caused by intolerancies for fructanes and lactose. I do not bloat from cheese, but I do from watermelon (fructanes) and a little from cauliflower (mannitol). So very personal indeed and usually depends on portion size of the food! NOTE I am not a professional expert, but just putting it out here so it might help others. In case you want to know more, you can try reading about FODMAP and irritable bowel movement. Also stress can increase bloating.

Apparently, before my eating disorder I was never bloated no matter what I ate! I have a fast metabolism and I used to eat a lot! It took a lot of time to fix everything including my digestion, hormones, etc because everything was just ruined during anorexia. But I’m still fixing my gut bcuz now I bloat a lot, and I know that my eating habits are not like how they used to be before! Sometimes I do skip dinner or more meals bcuz I just don’t feel like eating, sometimes I feel excessive fullness. None of this used to happen before ED. I just hope everything will be normal again it just needs time, and I’ll make sure not to skip meals and eat frequently!

This is totally true. However, if you eat a ton and you’re bloated , just drink water. Fruits that are water based i.e watermelon, can sometimes make you even more bloated. I love your channel !!’

Recently I got this gut test that samples your poo and tells you what food can cause your personal system to get upset and what foods you could use more of. It’s called ombre for anyone interested.
