Cassie, what exercises do u recommend for someone who’s dizzy? I’ve been dealing with chronic vertigo for the past two and a half weeks, NON STOP, and I’ve wanted to workout, but my body and mind, LITERALLY WON’T LET ME. What do I do? 😖😫

I know it’ll sound weird but it helped with my vertigo. Try ‘Alcohol boricado’ in your ears. Drop it in there and wait 10mins on each side everyday, do it for a week or so. Should take all the dizziness away.

Try the Epley maneuver. I’ve had vertigo for twenty years and no doctor was able to help me. They would just throw drugs at me or tell me I had to live with it. Three years ago, I was in an auto accident (rear-ended by a distracted driver going too fast). When I started physical therapy, my therapist tried the Epley maneuver on me and my vertigo went away. Not permanently, mind you, but for about 9 months. It is caused by crystals in your three canals in your ears. Vertigo may totally go away for some people or is something you might have to live with for the rest of your life. Mine won’t go away permanently, but to have relief for 6-9 months is a blessing in itself. My physical therapists said most doctors either don’t know/aren’t trained in the Epley maneuver. The Epley maneuver may not work on everyone because it depends what type of vertigo you have and what is causing it. Talk to a physical therapist that is trained to work with patients experiencing vertigo. Word of warning, the Epley maneuver may bring on dizziness, room spinning and nausea (at least it does for me). It’s not fun going through the maneuver. I’ve gone through it four different times in 3-1/2 years, but the end result is worth it.

I hate the advice that everyone gives is “why”, why do I need a reason? I just want to work out and be happy. Makes it too stressful. People always think a reason is helpful but it’s not
