As someone who used to work in commercial kitchens, this is the only correct answer. If there was a better way to do it, chefs would have already figured it out.

That is probably not the smartest way to remove the pitā¦ if the avocado is ripe it should come off without any effort, just wiggle it out. If the avocado isnāt ripped enough and you shouldnāt eat it and the pit will feel like it is glued on.
actually It wį»oked for me all the time. I think it depends on whether its ripe enough. AND what type of Avo it is.

Was gonna say, if it’s ripe enough, should pop right out.
Avocados are tricky because the skin conceals the inner part so you really gotta go by the feel

It works, but the avocado has to be ripe. If the avocado sticks to the seed like that itās not ripe.

Iām not lying! It worked for me, it depends on how ripe your avocado is, if itās a little hard the avocado meat is going to stick to the seed and it wonāt work. It does work!

if you’re worried about hitting the seed, you can also use a small spoon and scoop it out

Use a spoon….it’s safest IMO. Also if it’s ripe enough, the seed will pop out easily.
Generally, to make an avocado ripen, leave it out of the fridge for a day.

Iāve tried it twice. The first time it didnāt work, the second time it did. I think it depends mostly on how ripe the avocado is, and slightly on luck x

It all depends on how ripe your avocado is
If it is the perfect ripeness the seed will just slip out without any fancy tricks or anything

You have to place it in the palm of your hand and hold on to it, then just squeeze and it pops right out. Works for me every time

The way I get the seed out is my squeezing the sides of the half and it just pops right out. There is usually a little chunk or two of avocado still on it but itās not much.

Use a knife instead. When youāre trying to take out the seed cut the knife a little into it. Once itās lodged enough in the seed, twisted the seed and it should pop right out. If you did it correctly then you shouldnāt need much force to pull the knife out of the seed

Opening avocado. When you slice it hold each half and twist them to separate the two halves. And then chop the knife into the seed, twist it lightly and the seed should come out cleanly if the avocado is ripe.

Hereās a tip that has worked for me no matter the ripeness of the avocado:
Grab a knife and then just slam that thing into the seed (horizontally) after itās sort of stuck to the knife pop the knife out (hopefully bringing the seed with it) if it doesnāt work try again with more force.
Hope this helps!!

You have to bend the whole avocado inside out just a tiny bit š so not push only on the seed
Hit the seed with the blade of a knife and twist.
