Shop the Not Your Typical Tank:
Ok truth talk: I haven’t truly loved a tank since like the 2010s when padded cami’s were all the rage. Then workout fashion went into this neon colored motivational muscle tank phase (that yes I def contributed to haha) and from there tanks kinda died for me as crop tops completely took over the world.
Since it’s been 10 years since the glory days of the fitness tank top, I thought it was appropriate to attempt to reinvent the basic women’s ribbed tank.
Okay for real, I did not expect to be wearing this @POPFLEX By Blogilates ✨ Not your typical tank✨ all the time! I really love how it hugs my body…but like not in a clinging-to-my-bloat-kinda-way, but rather a lays-perfectly-on-top-of-my-curves-kinda-way! The fabric is just so silky.
It’s such a chill layering piece that’s perfect over a sports bra to give you coverage, while still remaining breathable.
I’m wearing an extra small even though on the size chart I measure a small. This is because I like my tops extra fitted. But this is totally my personal preference. This style runs true to size so I’d prob recommend you get your normal size.
♥️Cassey
Ps: This tank is avail now. Oh and if you wanna see it on diff bodies go on the @POPFLEX By Blogilates ig! There’s a full try on video!
Can anyone talk about how amazing her ideas are and how creative she can be. I love this masterpiece
only for people with her type of body
half the stuff she makes is already being made by a different company and then she acts like it’s so innovative. like, crossover flared leggings/yoga pants that are snug thru the thigh and only flare at the bottom? done. you can literally buy half the stuff she makes at Aerie or Lululemon. hard pass.
But I find this one to be unnecessary
Aw thank u!
@blogilates maybe u could add a built in bra but like just the pads yk?
This is completely genius! She really added so much to such a simple piece! I love how she priorities how flattering something would actually be
As someone with a large natural chest, the first thing I always look for in clothing is “can I wear a bra with it.” Unfortunately, this tank would show bra straps but it’s so cute otherwise.
@LadyASolveg her clothes are only for skinny workout people. Just because she makes larger sizes doesn’t make her clothes work for everyone. The cut and style is only flattering on people built like her.
@rowan Please just go look In the dictionary, you’re all wrong🙄
@Xx_Shadow_ Assassin_xX ….go ahead then….not a single person here is stopping you from giving the correct answer then…since youre so excited to call people out….just wondering why you havent showcased your exceptionally high intelligence level
@cloud9beauty even my skinny self has those armpit flaps, these shirts really don’t do the majority of people justice tbh. Maybe it’s just me but I’m not a huge fan of this tank. No hate though, it looks great on her!
@rowan no…they got it right
YEYYYY SHE FINALLY MADE TANK TOPS, IVE ASKED FOR THIS! YESSSSSSSS THIS IS AMAZING 🤩
We need the built in padding tho! It’s such a pain when we wear cute tanks but the bra always has to show
@Ida Norman forreal
@schaedyn bras exist for a reason sweetie…. some of us like/need support. What an unnecessary and dumb comment lol
It would be cool if it had a slot for padding and that you could choose the size of it separately from the tank. I’m not sure how realistic this is logistically though
Omg yesss we need built in padding i wish every tank just came with it cuz it would be do helpful
And when you try not to wear a bra the damn nipples decide that it’s their time to shine ✨ T^T
When she sketched it,it looked like a bathing suit. I was like “we need to make a bathing suit?”
Oh my gosh girl, thank you! I love how feminine this design is, and you always hit the nail on the head! however, I was wondering…
I have an extremely long waist and one thing that drives me crazy is when a tank top continuously rides up on to my mid waist and scrunches around my stomach. That said, if it’s to short, I also dislike it because I can’t bend or stretch without it coming up on my stomach (which I sometimes don’t feel like showing). I was wondering if you had any ideas for this little delema if mine.😅
Much love! Pls. keep doin what you do cause you ROCK at it!
Thank you!🥰
Seriously, you are an innovative designer. I love getting to see how you solve your own problems through practical fashion design. It is an awe inspiring process, and I’m proud of getting to see you fulfilling your purposes in such a way.
Love and blessings to you 💕
I’m all about accentuating whatever few curves I have. Bring it back, Cassie! I feel like the trend now is baggy like burlap sacs. So anything curve-hugging is a plus Loving your designs! 🥰
i’m not sure if you’ve done this before or if you even read these comments but…
you should make the perfect dance/workout shorts one with like a v fold in the front, anti camel toe and high waisted
your such an inspiration to me 🙂 thanks for making these fun videos
I love that she designed a product that she loved and 100% good for her, I’m just not huge on curved hems. They make me look bigger than I am but she looks great in it so 😭😍
She could do a little better at designing clothes for people who aren’t built exactly like her, honestly.
@delfyinc You mean healthy people? Yeah no honey if you’re fat just lose weight, the world doesn’t revolve around you
@Oxymoron You can be completely healthy while having a bigger body, you’re just being fatphobic and can’t accept that bigger people can love their bodies and want to look good in clothes
Haha I personally prefer the “boring” ones more. I have sensitive skin and very conscious of the clothes I am wearing so all fancy designs that wrap my body tightly or create a fabric lumps like the X-line back will make me feel itchy and restrained. The uneven or sticky materials and huge thread lines are the worst. Round tight neckline also make me feel like I’m constantly being choked so my fashion life has been stressful 🙁
It’s the same for me, I also just love having cleavage to be honest
Same, my skin doesn’t allow just any clothes and this would look unflattering with my large dancer shoulders anyways
I looove the exposure social media gives to such talented people, I like every one of your designs so much, keep it up gal!!
” Yes I’m all about the entrance, but I’m also all about the exit too ” omggggg yessss I LOVE itt!!!! 💖💖💖💖
Is it dirty or it’s only me?
@Mystery Brothers nah i got you, how ever i dont think she meant it as a dirty joke thats how they talk(some of them)
Wow. Can you make it longer to help with us mommies (or not mothers)who struggle with our pooch?
Even if it were longer, the curved hemline would visually create a “pooch”. I hate curves hemlines for that reason and because you can never tuck them in.
@OK VIOLA, same. I have some pooch and just naturally wide hips. While I’ve learned to love my hips, curved hems just make them look waaaayyyy wider. Like unnaturally, disproportionally wide. They’re just not flattering for me. When I worked as a seamstress, I would regularly have women come in asking me to chop off the curved part of them of shirts for the same reason.
My torso is also on the longer side, so extra length in tops is always appreciated!
I have extra skin under my armpit and usually when I wear ones like yours, they irritate the skin, that is why I like the straight straps more. And as some who has back acne, the ones that cover my back are better
I’m sure you already know this but covering your back acne makes it worse you need to let the skin breathe, especially with working out and sweat. Exfoliating might help you if you don’t already or if it’s too painful you try a medicated cream for acne
Then keep buying those
@Destiny C Very true! I still have a bacne but it’s been getting better since I started taking care of it. I’ve learned to not be afraid of my back being exposed, bc I know it’s giving my skin a chance to breath. Especially when working out.
yep I’m in the same boat as you
Really love the top..u always bring good designs that fails to disappoint us 🙂
Also would like if this top was long and available for more colors…like pastel for example…
Mint, rose gold, pastel blue are good colors for these tops
Cassie, I LOVE this design it is one of my favorite things you have done so far it’s 99.99% perfect buttt… I think you should add a built in liner/sports bra bc of the keyhole in the back you can’t really wear a sports bra or else it shows so I think that this would be a very good idea thanks for ur time
-Jay
I love how you start explaining what you don’t like and then you’re like “Here’s how i fixed it” and show us a whole design and final piece! I LOVE IT!
