Perfection doesn’t exist. And I’m not just talking about self image. I’m talking about public perception too.
When my body became my billboard (as more eyes fell upon my YouTube channel), the narrative around it changed to match the story people wanted to tell.
A short timeline:
1. 2009: Started posting workout videos.
2. Early 2010s: “She’s too fat to be a trainer.”
3. Body positive movement.
4. “So inspirational that someone with a body like hers can be a trainer.”
5. 2019: Went on my 90 day journey to get in the best shape of my life – mentally and physically.
6. “She’s a bad role model. A complete hypocrite. She’s mentally disordered. A shame to all women!!!!”
7. Lost weight. Found myself.
8. 2020’s: “She’s looks so weak and skinny.”
I want to be clear that over the past 12 years, way more positive has happened than negative, but as a human, and an emotional one, it’s not easy to ignore what’s being said about me. So unfortunately, it takes up space in my brain and this timeline shows those moments that impacted me in that way.
Anyway, I’m always trying to work on not caring what people have to say because they don’t know my story, my journey, or my body. They have no right to strip me of my happiness or invalidate my strength.
So yeah… what you see isn’t always what you get… especially If you ain’t seeing clearly.

your strong, dont let those people get to you, your worth it just believe in yourself i trust you in this 💞 just because your skinny dosen’t mean your weak, just because your fat doesn’t mean you wont get friends, feel confident in yourself, be yourself I believe in you!! stay strong 💗💗

Your body not gonna stay the same as you grow, but yourself is the only thing that stay with you for long periods of time not your body, so love yourself and don’t let anyone who don’t know what you been through get you!
*If this was a dhar man video the lesson would be never judge a book by its cover*

lmao Yes😂
So you see…
It’s he double standard: we’re either too skinny, or too fat for men 😩
That’s not true. Maybe for the men you’re attracted to
Triple standard
Too thin, too fat, too muscular
Why care what men think? they dont care either what women think of their huge/small muscles.
Girl we never too skinny or fat for ourselves! ☺️ we just right nd that’s all that matters. 💖 if u need to do something for ur body for urself then u do it!! Never we should change for others.
Not all men are like that
Wowww I’m early for once! You are such an inspiring person and have given me soooo many tips 😊😊

Yes, it’s really sad that our ideal of beauty is constantly changing and that you’re never good enough. So the most important thing is not to listen to people who judge you on your body. You are perfect the way you are love you
You are suck a role model, I really look up to you.
I know this isn’t really related to fitness but could you maybe do a hair routine? Just like what you do when you wash your hair, and how you keep it looking gorgeous in general! Love ur vids btw 🥰
Amazing video you are so inspiring 💖
one reason i actually started working out was for safety, when youre smaller people assume they can say and do anything to you, because “what are you going to do when youre so small?”
do you mean in height or age? im sorry lol im super confused
Whenever I need a confidence boost, I look to blogilates 💗
💖
yes bc I’m a runner so I have tons of leg strength and people always assume me skinny with no arm strength
That’s the same as me! I get laughed at at school and called “chicken legs” while I train for running 3 times a week(Tuesday, thursday, + sunday) *I’m 3rd in ireland for cross country 2021* I swim every Monday, wednesday, and Friday at 5am before school, I do dance in Thursday’s and Tuesday’s before athletics and I do gymnastics on Monday and Friday evening, while I workout every day for at least 3-4 hours, so I wore shorts to school and I got laughed at and called “chicken legs” and then I forced my arm, and let muscles and they never brought it up again C: (Sorry for the long story, but that was one of the best days of my life), and I get picked for every team at recess!
Dont be sad what your haters says, girl u just gotta keep ur self up! CHEER IT UPPPPPP GIRL!
“Body goals” change literally every year, so basically, no matter what you do, you will never have the “ideal body” based on beauty standards. So what I want to say is: love your body, love yourself, and embrace what you look like! 🫶🏼
Thats the thing about shorts!!! I’m so small, plus only 5’0, that there’s a big gap in the edges, and doesn’t define what I do got. I absolutely LOVE the legging shorts you’ve made just for that reason! Not only great for workouts but amazing to actually feel great in everyday shorts too!! 🙌
I have done sports like gymnastics dance Pilates and soccer since I was one and a girl in elementary school said that my thighs that I was very insecure about because I had a thigh gap she said it looked like I had tumors on my leg but it was just the muscle.😕
Can you recommend any stretches I can do that will help me do a split? I have tried some but they aren’t doing much
