@Sara Moffatt i like pilates so bad, i do it once a week it has so many benefits in terms of back pain, posture, stability and flexibility i dont use it as a main way to get strong visible arms or big butt. I used to bodyweight exercises i was one of those ladies who belived i would get super muscular and manly from weights. My body has changed i dont lift heavy but incorporating weights has changed my shape and strength so much.
Im still shocked on how you dir 2hours of workout was it everyday?

@I’m not a Cat I did them 5-6 days a week every week. So sometime 5 and sometimes 6. On those days I did sometimes 1.5 hours sometimes 2 😅 I realize that’s nuts which is why I ended up thinking what I was doing is silly and I need to look at lifting heavy haha

Maybe they do work but it’s kind of hard to know how effective they are given that you also lift weight…

Well you need to have no fat in your arms first , then almost anything you lift will get you arm muscles xD my friend and mom is naturally skinny, doesn’t workout, just carries groceries and their arms are so muscular.

In all honesty, i follow her calendar and i have better arms than she does 🙂 and no, beside the weighted videos she has for arms in there, i dont do any lifting 🙂

@anelad malia criticism isnt always negative, i dont know why you need to tell me i dont know anything about pilates just because i said this workout isnt what helped her get those arms. She used to lift weights besides teaching pilates and does a lot of cardio and followed a certain diet to lose body fat and keep those muscles. So for her telling begginers this workouts are gonna helped have arms like hers is a bit disingenuous, a typical tactic many fitness influencers use for views and money.
Im not saying pilates isnt hard, i do pilates every 1 week and its hard af, but to get the results she has you need to do more than this exercises she shows on the shorts. Her longer videos are just better.

@I’m not a Cat Stop being so pressed. Everyone’s body is different. If the workout doesn’t work for you, that doesn’t mean it won’t work for other people. Thats why I don’t have a problem with these videos, because I know someone is going to benefit. Stop being so self absorbed, and do NOT speak for other people.

@ZombieSushi everyone has their opinion, you have yours i have mine, and ill stand with it and you can stand with yours. Cassey has better workouts for every levels besides this mobility exercises that she keeps promoting to build muscle. Disingenuous is something so common in fitness industry and there is nothing wrong to call it out.

Let’s be honest cassey… it works if you’re already fit and lifting weights as well! For someone overweight with over 15% body fat it’d take about 30 years of doing this “exercise” to see results !! Why would you mislead people on purpose i don’t get it…

They do work BUT not alone . For me there are 4 basic things you need to do to have toned arms such as weightless arm workouts , body weight arm workouts ( push-ups , mountain climbers ,planks etc ) ,arm stretches and with weights 😄

I wish fitness influencers would stop lying. I never saw any muscles in my arms doing these exercises. You need to start lifting weights
Brydie Bray
January 22, 2022 at 3:20 pm
Progressive overload is an actual thing… these exercises are good for developing muscle if you have literally none.. but once you’ve started doing any actual muscle building, this type of exercise isn’t building anything. Even Yoga is better because you have to hold your own bodyweight much of the time.
You want real muscles, you gotta lift (relative to you) heavy weights.

For someone who has been a Cassy fan since 2011, trust me they work. As i could not afford weights at the time and was totally new to YouTube workouts. The result may be slow to show their appearance but it was sure.
Thank you Cassy from 185 to 145 lb I’m quite happy.
Keep it up.

Talking from personal experience. I started doing her weightless arm workouts as a beginner. My goal wasn’t fat loss since I’m already skinny, but I wanted to get back in shape. This type of videos left me sore and after a couple of weeks my arms got more toned. Then, I wanted to build muscles. I kept doing these but couldn’t see any changes, so I got some weights and they did wonders (MadFit weight workouts are great). So I guess weightless exercises are good as a start, or if you just want toned arms, but not in the long term if you want stronger arms.
there’s going to be a lot of talk about this….
