Pilates is hands down the best, especially for toning and strength. I just did her total thigh burner from fiton a while ago and I can still feel it.
I have been doing it for quite sometime now and for the first time my thighs look so slim and they even got some good muscles now!!! Thank you so much Cassey.
Pilates is difficult especially if you use tools to improve your posture but the results are very good and worth it

I guess it depends on what your goals are. Mine are feeling sore getting strong and mobile and have good core stability . For that I love me my Pilates! If you want to get bigger and gain muscle (asthetic goals) or want to lift heavier it mich not be the best strategy
But why do you only always brinh prayer pulses for that Argument?

@K J That’s a great goal! Pilates has its place for sure. Imo almost everyone can benefit from Pilates (including men). It’s great for core stability, alignment, and it can be fun. I would argue the best thing for being lean (which means a higher muscle to fat ratio) is strength training, but it’s more that strength training and Pilates compliment each other. They are great to do together. Plus, more muscle means you burn more calories at rest, making it easier to lose fat, have it be sustainable, and get you lean! Pilates uses your body weight, and a lot of places bring some resistance training into the mix anyway. So it’s fine to pick one if you don’t want both if that works better for you, as long as you know what’s achievable.
When it comes to prayer pulses though – they simply aren’t the most efficient or going to give people what they think it will. Its not even really Pilates. It’s a move designed to burn, but burning doesn’t mean function. It has a limited range of motion, it’s more of a shoulder exercise than anything else, and there are way better moves for your shoulders. This move is neither efficient in building muscle or burning calories (besides what any basic movement would do). Therefore it’s not efficient in making you lean.
It comes down to messaging. It’s good for people to know that Pilates is great for a lot of people AND that this move is inefficient, because our time is valuable, as is Cassey’s.

I think there is a miss conception, i dont think men say pilates dont work so many men do pilates. Pilates is hard however it works differently than other types of strength training. Pilates uses more eccentric movements and it helps lengthening and flexibility of the muscles and i found it so much better for core and my back compared to weight training. With weight training you shorten your muscles, you use more concentric but you can also use eccentric movements aswell, its more efficient for building muscle mass.
This workout styles complement each other it should never be pilates vs weights if you can do both or do what you want but lets not compare, they are just different.
I do both and love both.

They clearly poked bear 🐻 with stick . She is trying to deflect “men vs women” I think she has issues. Mutiple professionals r calling her out (YouTube auto played them on my acc ) I was shocked ppl have beef 🥩 with her #€{! then they were saying ppl randomly “design” moves with no education r so wrong !!! Feel bad 😞 for ppl get fooled

Yeah, saw the video of the guy having negative comments about you/pilates. Sure he does Body building, but He does bodybuilding which has ENTIRELY different results.

Cuz I prob paid $1000 for Physiotherapy.. n the tell us avoid this type moves at all time —— grind off shoulder n elbow Make u more hunch . Arms should beside each other , n shoulders needs to drop . That move will make ur shoulders rise neck cave into a 🐢 turtle . I didn’t say anything cuz there catty women out there . Then tons male influencers calling her out . Clearly ppl r seeing the wrong there

I did pilates when my son was younger, when he actually did naps lmao, and it was so fun and it toned my arms a little bit and my legs. My mom use to do it when she was a exotic dancer in her younger years and when I was younger. Pilates work if you do it right you basically using you own weight and gravity to do it. It’s not for gaining a lot of muscles but to just tone and slim a bit. Remember any exercise is better than no movement.

But it’s true. Pilates doesn’t work. It’s the person doing them that does the work. People got to remember: NONE of the routines, sets, fads, trends, or programs work if you are not willing to put in the work and effort and keep at a routine of your own. Persistence is the progress.
